Save Scumming — The Core Cheat
When you quit a game before time runs out, you can reload your save file and start the same day over. The game's randomness is always the same after reloading — same shop items, same quests, same probabilities.
The game autosaves every time you "wake up" from the last day. That save point is your reset anchor. Quit before the day ends and you return to the start of that day with everything intact.
How to Save Scum
Enter the casino day normally
Play through the day and see what happens — what games are available, what the RNG gives you.
Quit before time runs out
Press ESC → Quit Game. Do this before the day timer hits zero. If the day ends naturally, the autosave triggers and you lose the reset point.
Reload your save
Rejoin your save file. You're back at the start of the same day with the same RNG seed.
Use what you learned
At tables with no physics (like Dragon's Tower), you already know the bomb positions. Replay and win.
Repeat until quota is safe
Keep reloading until you've hit the quota. Then let the day end naturally to trigger the next autosave.
Dragon's Tower — The Best Save Scum Target
Dragon's Tower is the ideal game for save scumming because it has no physics interactions. The bomb positions are fixed by the RNG seed, which means they're identical every time you reload the same day.
Dragon's Tower Save Scum Method
- Play Dragon's Tower and note which tiles are bombs when you fail.
- Quit before the day ends (ESC → Quit Game).
- Reload the save. The bomb positions are identical.
- Play again, avoiding the known bomb positions.
- Win the multiplier you need, then let the day end naturally.
Works best in single player
In multiplayer, coordinating a quit-and-reload is harder. Solo play lets you reload instantly without waiting for other players.
Seed Rerolling
Save scumming locks you into the same RNG seed. But what if you need a different outcome — a specific machine on the floor, or a specific ending? That's where seed rerolling comes in.
The seed can be changed by buying items and rerolling stores before you speak to the loan shark. Each purchase or reroll shifts the RNG seed, changing what machines appear on the floor and what outcomes you'll see.
How to Seed Reroll
Don't talk to the loan shark yet
The seed is still malleable before you accept the day's challenges.
Buy items from the shop
Each purchase shifts the seed. Buy and reroll shop items to change the outcome.
Reroll the store
Use store rerolls to further shift the seed until you get the machine or outcome you need.
Check the floor
Enter the casino and see if the machine you need is present. If not, quit and try a different seed.
Accept the challenge
Once you have the right machine on the floor, talk to the loan shark and accept the challenge.
Use seed rerolling for:
- • Getting a specific machine on the floor
- • Targeting a specific achievement challenge
- • Rerolling the ending you get
- • Avoiding a bad floor layout
Important limits:
- • Must be done before talking to the loan shark
- • Costs tickets/money to buy items for rerolling
- • Challenges and machines are locked once accepted
- • You cannot reroll to get a challenge you're missing mid-day
Save Scumming for Achievements
The achievement system is built around the challenge system — you only get the achievement if you complete the challenge after accepting it from the loan shark. Save scumming is the intended way to handle bad RNG.
General Tips
Stop at quota
The single most important tip. Once you're over the target, stop gambling. The casino wins when you turn a safe win into a wipe.
Roulette for fast pushes
Red/Black 1:1 bets on Roulette are the most controlled way to push toward quota quickly without high variance.
Item timing matters
Don't use Rewind randomly. Use it after a failed large bet when you know exactly what you're rewinding.
One bettor at a time
In co-op, designate one player for risky plays. Multiple people betting simultaneously can drain the shared bank faster than anyone can react.
Body parts last resort
The gun/body-part interaction covers ~33% of quota. Use it when normal options are failing, not as a first move.
Minimum bet new tables
Every time you encounter a game you haven't played before, minimum bet once to learn the controls before committing real money.
