Items Guide
Every item in Gamble With Your Friends — ticket costs, effects, best combos, and when to use each one.
What to Buy First
Spend tickets on power before style. The best first item is the one that gives your group a clear casino plan — not the funniest one.
Recommended buy order for new teams:
- Golden Chip (4 tickets) — cleanest cheap power buy
- Holy Statue (7 tickets) — best defensive team item
- Taser (4 tickets) — best setup item, pairs with Golden Chip
- Quota Gun (5 tickets) — emergency quota tool
- Camera (6 tickets) — profit amplifier when a teammate is winning
- Drink / Microphone (5–6 tickets) — profit buffs for stable runs
- Insurance (7 tickets) — defensive buy for high-variance tables
- Mystery Box (4 tickets) — only after main items are covered
Golden Chip rule
If Golden Chip appears, buy it unless the team already has a better planned combo. It turns one all-in into a no-loss spike, especially after Taser raises the max bet.
One item per player
Each player can only carry one item, so do not stack all responsibility on the same person. Spread aura items, emergency tools, and profit buffs across reliable players.
Ticket Price List
All Items
Golden Chip
Spend it for a single free all-in.
Best use: Best cheap power buy. Use Taser first to raise the max bet, then spend Golden Chip for a larger free all-in.
Combo: Taser → Golden Chip
Holy Statue
While active, prevent all loss nearby.
Best use: Group players near one table, activate, bet during the protected window, then stop. Don't keep betting after protection ends.
Combo: Holy Statue + fast machines
Taser
Use on a keypad to increase maximum bet.
Best use: Best setup item. Use it on the keypad before a Golden Chip or any protected big bet.
Combo: Taser → Golden Chip
Insurance
Decrease loss amount.
Best use: Use when the team must keep betting but can't afford a full loss. Best on Crash, HiLo, or Plinko.
Combo: Insurance + high-variance tables
Quota Gun
Pays 33% of quota for each body part it shoots off.
Best use: Use when the timer is low and normal bets are too slow. Agree who loses the part before activating.
Combo: Emergency quota push
Drink
Increase profit while drunk.
Best use: Give to the player who already understands the table and can still play while drunk.
Combo: Drink + high-multiplier table
Microphone
While active, increase profit nearby by singing.
Best use: Best when several players are grouped near the same table for a coordinated push.
Combo: Microphone + clustered team
Camera
Capture a winning player for extra profit.
Best use: Use it on a teammate who just won or is lined up for a high-value bet so the bonus attaches to real profit.
Combo: Camera + strong win window
Gambler's Confidence
Increase profit amount.
Best use: Best when the team has already chosen a reliable table and can repeat profitable bets during the buff window.
Combo: Confidence + safer high-frequency bets
Stake Holder
Increase power of each item.
Best use: Item amplifier — only useful when the team already has multiple strong items. Not a first buy.
Combo: Stake Holder + multi-item day
Time Machine
Rolls back time (up to ~60 seconds).
Best use: Use after a failed large bet when you know exactly what you're rewinding. Don't use it randomly.
Combo: Time Machine + planned big bet
Bonus Draw
Get ticket on profit.
Best use: Ticket-farming option. Best when the team can repeatedly profit without risking the whole bank.
Combo: Bonus Draw + stable run
Angel's Reel
Spin for a chance to revert your last loss.
Best use: Cheap recovery gamble. Use after a significant loss, not after a tiny minimum bet.
Combo: After a meaningful loss
Devil's Reel
Triple or lose your last win.
Best use: High-risk snowball. Only use when the team accepts the risk and the previous win is large enough to matter.
Combo: After a large win
Mystery Box
Gives a random item.
Best use: Buy only after the team has a reliable item plan. Can contain Time Machine.
Combo: After main items are covered
Best Item Combos
Taser + Golden Chip
8 ticketsThe cleanest early power combo. Doubles the value of your free all-in with minimal setup.
- Use Taser on the keypad to raise the maximum bet.
- Spend Golden Chip for a larger free all-in.
- Don't place extra unprotected bets afterward.
Holy Statue + Fast Machines
7 ticketsTurns a risky table into a safe push window. Best for teams that struggle to stop gambling.
- Choose one fast-betting table (Slots, Roulette, Duck Race).
- Group all players near the table.
- Activate Holy Statue.
- Bet aggressively during the protection window.
- Stop immediately when protection ends.
Time Machine + Planned Big Bet
6 ticketsEffectively gives you a second chance on any single large bet. Most powerful when the team knows exactly what they're rewinding.
- Agree on a large bet before placing it.
- Place the bet.
- If it fails, activate Time Machine to rewind ~60 seconds.
- Replay the bet with the same or adjusted approach.
Quota Gun + Emergency Push
5 ticketsBypasses the casino entirely. Two shots can cover ~66% of quota when normal gambling is too slow.
- Confirm the team is short on quota with low time remaining.
- Agree which player loses a body part.
- Aim Quota Gun at the agreed body part.
- Each shot pays ~33% of quota.
Holy Statue at Street Craps
Holy Statue is not just a generic safety item. At Street Craps, it can protect the dangerous opening roll while the dice player makes a larger bet. Insurance can cover a similar moment once, but Holy Statue is stronger for a coordinated group.
Best holder
A calm teammate who watches the dice instead of placing side bets.
Best moment
Right before or during the opening roll, when a loss would hurt the bank.
Best stop rule
When the protection ends, reset to normal bets even if the table feels hot.
How to Buy, Pick Up & Use Items
The most common mistake: the team buys an item, nobody picks it up, and they enter the casino without it.
Buy the item
Place or confirm the item in the shop area, then press the buy button. Some players think they bought it but never confirmed.
Pick it up (press E)
Buying is not enough. One player must physically pick up the item before the casino day starts.
Assign a holder
Decide who carries it, which table it supports, and when it gets used — before entering the limo.
Use it in the right place
Nearby aura items (Holy Statue, Microphone) need the holder close to the team. Taser must be used on a keypad. Quota Gun must be aimed at a body part.
Stop after the effect ends
Teams lose item value by continuing to bet after the protection or profit window is gone.
If an item does nothing, check three things:
Did someone pick it up? Are they using it near the correct target? Are they following the held item's on-screen prompt?
Cosmetics can wait
Outfits and accessories are permanent unlocks, so they are better handled outside serious quota attempts. During a co-op run, tickets should first buy items that prevent losses, create one safe all-in, or recover quota.
Body Parts & Quota Gun
Body parts are not just cosmetic penalties — they're part of the run economy. Quota Gun converts them directly into quota progress at 33% of quota per body part.
Eye
Affects screen visibility.
Trade when: When the player doesn't need to navigate or carry items.
Mouth
Makes voice communication muffled.
Trade when: When the player isn't the shot-caller or item holder.
Body
Heavily affects movement. May need to be carried by others.
Trade when: Only in serious trouble — the penalty is severe.
Use body parts when:
- • Team is short on quota with low time
- • Normal gambling is too slow
- • The player agrees to the trade
- • The lost part won't ruin the next day
Don't use body parts when:
- • The team is already above quota
- • The player is the shot-caller or item holder
- • You're only doing it for comedy
- • A safer item-based option exists
Common Item Mistakes
Buying random items before the team talks
Fix: Call the purchase before spending tickets. Tickets are limited.
Forgetting to pick up the item
Fix: Confirm who picked up the item before entering the limo.
Using a powerful item on a tiny bet
Fix: Save strong items for meaningful bets or emergencies.
Giving the risky item to the tilted player
Fix: Give Golden Chip, Time Machine, and Quota Gun to the calmest player.
Selling body parts for comedy
Fix: Trade body parts only when the value helps the run.
Continuing to bet after Holy Statue ends
Fix: Stop immediately when the protection window closes.
