Common Online Problems
Friend cannot join lobby
Restart the host lobby, send a fresh Steam invite, and make sure both players launched the game through Steam.
Version mismatch
Have every player fully exit the game, let Steam finish updates, then relaunch. Modded groups should compare exact mod versions too.
Desync after day transition
Remove recently added mods, verify that every player has the same load order, and test one clean unmodded lobby.
